Reliable monitoring of residents bed exit in high care and dementia units caused by a fall or overstaying a programmed bed exit time is essential in ensuring residents safety in your nursing home.
The Emfit Bed Sensor is compatible with ALL existing nurse call systems.
An alarm is immediately sent to floor staff via the EXISTING nurse call system when an absence is detected due to a resident falling out of bed or not returning within a specified time period.
The Emfit Bed Sensor detects a resident’s presence by sensing their respiration and heart beat IRRESPECTIVE OF
THE RESIDENT’S SIZE OR WEIGHT.

The L-4060S sensor mat measures basic physiology (e.g. heartbeat, respiration rate & excessive movement activity) from below a bed mattress without any electrodes, leads or cuffs attached to the resident. The bed sensor complies with the TGA certification standards and has no embedded wires or power running through it. The specially formulated sheet sensors detect a resident in bed by sensing movements and vital body life signs. An absence of any one of these signs will result in a bed exit alarm being sent to the existing nurse call system for attention.
Control Unit D-1070-2G
The control unit can be preset to respond to an absence of heartbeat or respiration within intervals ranging from 3 seconds to 60 minutes. The alarm is sent direct to the display Annunciators or Dect Phones and/or Pagers of your existing nurse call system within 3 to 5 seconds.
Emfit offers a manufacturers 2-year limited warranty for both sensors and alarm units.
