Modcoms implements Destiny Wireless Solution for Workforce Management

Modcoms Voice Data Mobility has recently implemented the Destiny Wireless Digital Pen Solution to provide Workforce Management and speeding return of paperwork back to our Service Department and Office Administration.
One of our biggest internal challenges was the amount of time and resources it took for our Service Engineers to complete their paperwork and return it to the Service Department for checking and invoicing. This would involve our Engineers returning to the office in order to deliver completed paperwork and on occasions additional time was spent in our Customer Service team following up each engineer as to where their completed paperwork was and when it would be returned. Depending on workload this process could take days and even up to a week.
Now with the Destiny Wireless solution, we can transmit those forms back to the office in a matter of seconds, even before the engineer has left site and with no need for them to return to the office or further follow up.
This has definitely improved our speed of invoicing, office administraion efficiency, communication between departments and reduction in operating costs in unnecessary time spent travelling to and from the office. The added bonus is our Service Engineers did not have to be retrained in their normal paperwork processes apart from ticking a box to start and send.
Not only has this solution started to improve the internal processes for Modcoms, our clients can now start to benefit. It is now possible on request, to send an email to each customer who has logged a Service Call, the job docket can be attached as a PDF and they can actually see what the technician has written. We envisage this will improve communication between us and our customers.
